Christmas Closures 2025
Find out when our farms and Head Office are closed during the festive season.
Posted on 23/12/2025
With the festive season upon us, we’d like to share the closure dates of our rescue and rehoming centres and Head Office during the holiday period.
Closure dates for our rescue and rehoming centres
All four of our rescue and rehoming centres are now closed to visitors until January and will reopen as follows.
- Belwade Farm, in Aberdeenshire, and Penny Farm, in Lancashire, will be reopening to the public on Saturday 3 January 2025.
- Glenda Spooner Farm, in Somerset, will reopen on Wednesday 7 January.
- Hall Farm, in Norfolk, will reopen on Saturday 10 January.
Normal opening hours will then resume – please see our ‘Visit Us’ page on the website for more details and to book your tickets.
Closure dates for our Head Office
Our Head Office will be closed from 3:00pm on Tuesday 23 December until 8:30am on Friday 2 January. During the period our office is closed, you can continue to report any concerns relating to a non-emergency situation via our form at any time. Our team will review the information you have provided on their return.
If you’re concerned about an emergency situation which can’t wait until our office reopens, please contact the police or a vet for advice. You can find details of a local vet through the RCVS Find a Vet page.
Not sure whether a situation you’re concerned about is an emergency? You can find guidance on our ‘Worried about a horse?’ page.
Finally, we would like to wish all our supporters a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year. We are hugely grateful for all your support during 2025 and look forward to welcoming you back in 2026.
