Meet May

May is a lovely mare looking for her new home as a companion. Friendly and sweet by nature, May is very good to handle and has lovely social skills with the horses in her field. She loves a groom and a fuss from her groom and could go for walks in hand. When in a new environment May can be strong to lead but she soon settles once she is relaxed and in a familiar environment. May will need restricted grazing, could stable part time and is looking for a home with other equine friends where she isn’t left alone.

Important stuff

May can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that May is not suitable to be worked.

History

May came into the farm early this year after her owner sadly passed away.
