Meet Syrio

Sweet Syrio is now ready to find his new home as a non-ridden companion. When Syrio first arrived he was a very timid boy who lacked in confidence. His groom took her time gaining his trust and once they struck a bond his confidence came on leaps and bounds. He is very much a horse who strives off the confidence of his handler and we feel he would be best suited to someone at a quiet yard who has the time to give him consistent handling at the start whilst he settles in, to strike up that bond with him. Once settled Syrio is very good to catch lead and groom, and he enjoys coming in for a good fuss. He is well behaved for the vet, but will just need a little reassurance from his handler with the farrier, but as long as they take it slow, he is well behaved, he can just be little nervous of the farrier initially. Syrio can gain weight easily so he will be looking for a home with friends who are also on restricted grazing. If you think that you can offer this pretty boy a new home, please apply online.

Syrio can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Syrio is not suitable to be worked.
