Meet Flicker

Flicker is now looking for her new home as a companion. On arrival at the centre, Flicker needed to go through a programme of remedial farriery. While going through her rehabilitation, Flicker blossomed from a quiet and shy individual into a very sweet and loving mare who is good with all her handling skills. She would thrive in a quiet home with other mares as constant company and where she could live on restricted grazing. In the right environment Flicker could be stabled part-time if needed as long as this was introduced gradually

Important stuff

Flicker can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Flicker is not suitable to be worked.

History

Flicker came into the centre after her owner contacted us for help.
