Meet Earl of Wisdom

Earl is a gentle giant, who loves a fuss and company from both humans and horses alike. He is a lovely, polite boy who is good to handle in all ways. Earl is an ex-racehorse and unfortunately due to an old injury he is unable to be ridden and so he is now looking for a non-ridden companion home. He would prefer a quiet home with other horses who have the same management as him and are kept in a consistent routine. Earl would love access to ample, good grazing and although he is happy to live out, if he were to be stabled he would need a stable suitably big enough, ideally at least 15ft x 15ft. Being a sensitive boy Earl will need to be rugged appropriately according to the seasons. If you can offer this handsome boy the loving home that he deserves please do apply online.

Important stuff

Earl of Wisdom can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Earl of Wisdom is not suitable to be worked.

History

Earl came into our care in 2023 following a call to our welfare line reporting an underweight Thoroughbred with cracked feet.
