Earl is just a big gentle giant. He is a friendly boy with both humans and equines and doesn't have a bad bone in his body. Earl is the perfect gentleman with beautiful manners. He is very polite in every way and a lovely boy to handle. He is a little sensitive in his poll area, possibly from an old injury. Providing his handler is aware of this he can wear a headcollar without any problems. Earl thrives in a routine so we are looking for a home that can provide him with consistency . Earl is not suitable to ride, but he is such a genuine, honest chap he will make a wonderful non-ridden companion.

Important stuff

Earl of Wisdom can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Earl of Wisdom is not suitable to be worked.

History

Earl came into our care in 2023 following a call to our welfare line reporting an underweight Thoroughbred with cracked feet.

Hall Farm is located in the beautiful Norfolk countryside on a quiet lane less than ½ a mile from the A11. Just follow the brown tourist signs for World Horse Welfare between Attleborough and Thetford, NR16 2LP.
