World Horse Welfare and LeMieux partnership
World Horse Welfare launches new partnership with equestrian brand LeMieux
Posted on 02/08/2023

World Horse Welfare is delighted to announce that well-known and highly regarded equestrian brand LeMieux is raising funds for the charity’s vital work as their official corporate partnership launched 1 August 2023.
This new initiative signals a building on the previous relationship between LeMieux and World Horse Welfare, which has already included in-kind product and over £20,000 raised in the past year. A button at checkout on the equine clothing brand’s online shop allows customers to make a donation to World Horse Welfare, which has provided these valuable funds to the charity. These funds will help enable it to continue to rehabilitate the horses and ponies that come into its care – like Lemon a Shetland pony that founders Robert and Lisa LeMieux rehomed from the charity in February this year.
The new partnership will see corporate funding, further checkout fundraising and some exciting cause related marketing campaigns, which are in the pipeline.
“I am excited to share that LeMieux, has joined forces with World Horse Welfare to make a positive impact on the equestrian community. Our partnership is rooted in our shared commitment to horse welfare, knowing that when horses are well-cared for, they bring immense joy to their riders. Our fundraising, and website donations goes towards supporting World Horse Welfare’s crucial resources and initiatives. Our collaboration strives to ensure that horses receive the care and respect they deserve. I am personally honoured to be a part of this effort.”
Robert LeMieux, Founder at LeMieux
“Following a year appreciating customer donations, matched funding and other adhoc support from LeMieux, we’re very much looking forward to formalising and growing the partnership with further funding and other exciting joint initiatives in the pipeline. The support of LeMieux is making a huge difference to our work in supporting the welfare of horses and is a wonderful example of an integrated corporate partnership that brings benefits to both parties.”
Peter Rowbottom, Director of Fundraising at World Horse Welfare
“I am incredibly excited to share that LeMieux, a brand that I have loved for years, will now be an official charity partner with World Horse Welfare. This charity is especially dear to me since I am both a Patron and I also rehomed little Duke from them. It brings me great joy to see such a significant brand supporting this wonderful cause. This partnership will undoubtedly contribute to the outstanding work of World Horse Welfare in promoting horse welfare globally.”

World Horse Welfare invites corporate donations as a way of raising funds for its varied work around the world. The charity helps all types of equines both in the UK and around the world, through education, campaigning and hands-on care. They also support the responsible involvement of horses in sport. Working with companies to raise funds and awareness of the charity’s work, corporate partnerships also help the partners to achieve their CSR, ESG and marketing goals. There are many different ways corporates can support World Horse Welfare and create mutually beneficial and bespoke partnerships, to include scope for staff engagement, joint comms campaigns and sales promotional cause marketing campaigns.
