Colic is a common concern among horse owners and as with many health conditions, prevention is better than cure. But how can horse owners prevent their horses from developing colic?
On Wednesday 13th November our Welfare Wednesday Webinars continued and we were joined by vet Kate Blakeman to answer that very question. Kate discusses common causes of colic and explored practical strategies that horse owners can follow to reduce the risk of their horse developing colic. After a presentation from Kate, she answered the audiences questions on colic prevention in a live Q&A where she was joined by World Horse Welfare Field Officer, Leanne McPake.
