Hobby horse fun

Join us for fun filled day with ponies to meet and our fabulous Hobby horse games day.

The hobby horse event will be in our indoor riding school and classes will include fun classes based on Pony Club classics with treats for the winners. We have Hobby horses available for the games however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. There will be a prize for the “Best turned out” so feel free to come in fancy dress if you want to enter this one.

Your ticket also includes farm entry – there will be horses for you to meet in our paddocks including our baby donkeys Peanut and Popcorn who love to say hello. You are also welcome to take a walk round the fields and woods fields to enjoy the natural beauty of our farm or even enjoy a stroll down to the river – the choice is yours.

Ticket prices for children include farm admission and entry to all the hobby horse classes. When you check in at reception each child will be given a wristband which they will need to show the hobby horse organiser to join in the activity.

If you have under 5’s who would like to join in with the hobby horse classes you can book them a child’s ticket (£10) or book them in for free farm admission (select under 5’s on the booking form) and you enter them into a class on the day (£5 per class).

How do I book an event?

You can book farm tour tickets quickly and easily via our event ticket form. You can only make one booking per transaction, so if you’re planning to attend multiple events please book each date separately. 

To book your tickets you’ll just need to select the event date and the number of tickets required. You’ll receive an email confirming the details of your event booking – please keep this safe! You’ll need to either print it out or have it to hand on your phone when you visit to confirm proof of your booking.  

Please note that you can only book a set number of tickets via our website, so if you’re looking to arrange a larger group booking please get in touch with us by emailing bfevents@worldhorsewelfare.org and we’ll be very happy to help.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?

Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.  If you cannot attend on the date for which they were purchased (even if this is due to circumstances beyond your control) a refund or exchange cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us to see if you are entitled to a refund or exchange by emailing bfevents@worldhorsewelfare.org.
