Clicker Training Demonstration and Workshop

Join our team for a workshop on Weds 8th April to find out more about Clicker training.  The team will demonstrate how to introduce the use of a clicker and how it can be used to help with important tasks which your horse may find stressful like worming and vet visits. The team will also be demonstrating the benefits of clicker training for introducing a head collar and general handling for nervous horses. Our team will also be happy to answer other related questions on the day.

There are a limited number of places to ensure that all participants benefit so book your place today.  Please note there is an age limit of 14 and above for this session. If you would like to join in a practical session you will need to bring a riding hat, gloves and boots or you can just watch and learn – the choice is yours.

Free farm entry is included in the ticket price and the Cafe will be open too so you can enjoy a full day of horses – perfect!

How do I book an event?

You can book tickets quickly and easily via our event ticket form. You can only make one booking per transaction, so if you’re planning to attend multiple events please book each date separately.

To book your tickets you’ll just need to select the event date and the number of tickets required. You’ll receive an email confirming the details of your event booking – please keep this safe! You’ll need to either print it out or have it to hand on your phone when you visit to confirm proof of your booking. 

Please note that you can only book a set number of tickets via our website, so if you’re looking to arrange a larger group booking please get in touch with us by emailing  bfevents@worldhorsewelfare.org and we’ll be very happy to help.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking? Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.  If you cannot attend on the date for which they were purchased (even if this is due to circumstances beyond your control) a refund or exchange cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us to see if you are entitled to a refund or exchange by emailing  bfevents@worldhorsewelfare.org.
